Lucas Wehmiller Takes #55 to FALS
& Haubstadt Over Holiday Weekend
(September
3, 2018) Loud-N-Loose Racing and driver Lucas Wehmiller
rolled into Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois
and Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana on September 1-2 for
a pair of Open Wheel Modified events, which closed out their 2018
season. In the big $10,000 to win American Modified Series (AMS)
showdown at FALS on Saturday, Lucas placed ninth in his loaded heat
race, but later climbed up to sixth in his B-Main. Unfortunately,
the Seymour, Indiana driver missed the starting field by a couple
of positions in the Land of Lincoln. On Sunday at Haubstadt, Lucas
was caught up in heat race wreck and was not able to come from the
back of his B-Main to transfer into the $1,000 to win headliner.
Teammate Brayden Watson; however, was able to bring home an eleventh
place performance at the southwestern Indiana bullring. (Moonshine

the Loud-N-Loose Racing team invaded Portsmouth Raceway Park in
Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday evening, August 18 for the 24th edition
of the 'Fred Dillow Memorial.' The $1,500 to win Open Wheel Modified
special drew a stout 44 car field to PRP, which sits on the banks
of the Ohio River. Lucas Wehmiller stopped the clock thirty-fourth
fastest during the qualifying session before running seventh in
his stacked heat race and fifth in his B-Main. Unfortunately, that
was a few mere spots away from a coveted transfer position into
the main event. Teammate Brayden Watson was also in the pit area
at the southern Ohio facility, but was not able to transfer into
the headliner as well.

him out of the feature event. In the weekend finale on Sunday at
